Biography

Fuller Hull is a songwriter for the Second Chancers.

Fuller Hull is an alt-country, indie folk artist whose songs offer a rustic handle and a sharp edge. Drawing from experience of the real world unfolding around him, his songs unravel the mistakes he made as a younger man as he charts a new path. He’s taken his time to take his next shot as as a songwriter and storyteller, and you're invited to be one of the “second chancers” to join him as he walks down this road.

His second album is right around the corner, and it blends classic country and modern folk music into songs about bad decisions and good memories. With resonant acoustic guitars, harmonica cries and wails, mandolin spars, rickety banjos, and the occasional grace of pedal steel and churning telecaster, his new music promises songs that will drive you, lift you, and take you somewhere else.

Fuller Hull released his first solo album in 2021. “March” shares stories of the relationships we have with ourselves, with our closest people, and with the world around us. His first single “Broken Rodeo” celebrates the familiar faces of a small town fair. “I'm Alright” encourages all of us to recognize the success of living a good life. “Candlelight, Burning Low” is dedicated to all of those who have left us too early. A walk through life in nine songs, “March” is a walk through the good times, the bad times, and everything in between.

You'll find his songs on playlists alongside Nathaniel Rateliff, Mariel Buckley, Pheobe Bridgers, Jason Isbell, Townes Van Zandt, William Prince, Tyler Childers, Del Barber, and others in the New Americana genre.
